Welcome
again to Lil' Vintage Story Books, where we share our favorite vintage
children's books!
This is another Little Golden Book called "A Dragon in a Wagon", by Janette Rainwater, illustrated by John Martin Gilbert, and published in 1966.
It is such a fun little book showing rhyming words with silly illustrations.
Such a simple concept, but so cute!
I love this illustration of the king on a swing!
Here in Florida, we see lots of armadillos, but never on pillows!
My kids especially love this page because there's a tiny picture of the book on the nightstand- they think that's so clever! I love this page because it means I can send them all to bed!!
