Anyway, I completed the final big project for Baby Girl's nursery-refinishing the dresser. You can see what it looked like before in this post. All I did was repaint it a minty green, add pink glass knobs, and add some vintage decals- so cute! I am so in love with vintage decals!!
Here's a closer shot:
And I decorated this little cradle with matching decals as well:
Now the only thing left to do in the room is find a baby to live in there! Wait, is that a contraction I just felt?? No, just wishful thinking....!
I'll leave you with a photo of my thrift finds from the past couple weeks. Riley is obsessed with trains, so this book was a really nice find for only 75 cents!
I also wanted to express a really big thank you to all of you who have commented recently with your well wishes, etc. I know I'm not always the best at responding to every comment, but please know that they are all extremely appreciated.
Next post will be the new baby post, so stay tuned!!! :)
Adorable! Even though I'm not pregnant (CRY) I've been working on my nursery. But it's sooooooo small I wont have the room to be quite as creative as you.
ReplyDeleteEvery detail is so perfect. What a lucky little girl!
Oh and I just wanted to say I loved your book
I just returned it back to the library
I'll have you know there was quite a long waiting list for it. 3 weeks at-least. And they have many copies!
It was very inspiring. Although personally I think you need to do another one because I think your work is even sweeter and more fun now that the boys have grown a bit!
I hope you have a smooth labor and all is weel with you and baby girl
Hugs~
