Welcome again to Lil' Vintage Story Books, where we share our favorite vintage children's books!
Today's book is just the sweetest thing! It's called "Ten Little Fingers", written by Priscilla Pointer and published in 1954. Unfortunately, no illustrator is listed, as the illustrations are the sweetest part of the book!
The book is just several little rhymes with finger motions that accompany the rhymes. The pictures above are so adorable, aren't they?
Oh, her little dresses...sigh!
Love the drawings of the blocks in this one.
The reason I bought this book several years ago is because the little boy reminded me of my son, Noah. You can see how I used the above illustration in a journal page about how he had begun to creep/crawl when he was a baby:
Such sweet little clothing- the shortalls on him and the pinafore on her...
And I love this last page- what a nice page to frame in a little girl's room! Hmmm, I wonder why I haven't done that...!
