Blue Roof Keystone Dollhouse Tour

I think it's time for another dollhouse tour, don't you?  This house is one I've shown you here and here.  It was made by Keystone in 1942.  It is meant to have blue "shades" above the windows, but mine were pretty much disintegrated, so I removed the remains for a cleaner look.

Above us we see three beautiful young ladies- Ginny, Minnie, and Winnie.  They are triplets, in case you can't tell!  The actual owner of the house is Minnie, the one in the middle, and her pet dog.  Minnie was the first-born, and tends to do everything first, like buy her first house.

Today she has invited her two sisters to come have some tea and listen to music.

"Have a seat, Ginny and Winnie!  Take off your coats, get comfortable, I'll get you some tea!"

"Sit and admire the beautiful urn I have over my fireplace while I go fetch a few more goodies!"

While Minnie gets what she needs, we can look at her wonderful kitchen.

She has a whole row of built-in cabinets along the wall.

And she bought all her appliances to match the built-ins!  See how they all have blue paint details?  Minnie is very proud of how everything matches so well.

The other thing she is extremely proud of is her bedroom suite.

It used to belong to the girls' grandmother, and since Minnie was the first to buy a house, she was the lucky recipient of the gorgeous set!

The other sisters are a little jealous, but I guess Minnie's ambitious nature paid off!

Ginny decides to freshen up a bit in the bathroom.

Ginny, why don't you take off your coat and stay awhile?

Maybe if she's extra nice to Minnie, she will let her have the extra chair from the bedroom suite.  After all, the only thing it's doing in here is holding extra towels!

Back downstairs it looks like the girls have moved away the coffee table to make room for dancing!  Crank up that Victrola, Minnie!  And finally, Ginny took off her coat!  Hope you girls have a good time!

Here's a look at all the rooms together.

Here it is without a flash with the lights on inside.  They're dim, but still pretty!

And here's another look at Minnie's gorgeous bedroom furniture!

I found it on Ebay a couple years ago.  I don't know anything about it- there are no markings, but it is absolutely gorgeous!

I think I'd probably be a little jealous myself if I were Winnie or Ginny!

I hope you enjoyed this little tour!  Check my sidebar for tours of some of my other dollhouses!

Oh my, I can see I need to get busy with my new vintage dollhouse! It needs vintage wallpaper in each room first, then I need to find some awesome furniture like yours (I mean Minnie's!).
Wish me luck and thank you so much for the awesome tour, it's obvious that Minnie is "House Proud" and for good reason!!

Oh, Minnie has purchased such a charming vintage home in wonderful condition with original features! And lucky girl to inherit her granny's bedroom set! She will be the envy of her sisters for years to come. Thanks for the tour, Corey! I always leave with a smile on my face. :)

Avery's photos are just adorable in your previous post!!
